Vamonos Outside partners with Cogwild Bicycle Tours to host a learn-to-mountain bike program specifically for Latinx/BIPOC teenagers from local high schools located in Bend.
The goal of this program is to introduce youth to mountain biking and establish a sense of place in the local trails surrounding Bend. This program will include lessons from trained mountain Latinx/BIPOC bike coaches, free bike and helmet rentals, snacks, and transportation
– This program is geared towards those who already know how to ride a bike of any type and for those who have a STRONG DESIRE to learn to mountain bike. Those students who wish to continue to return to our programs are welcome to return.
