- Veronica is a first-generation Mexican-American, “inquieta”, and life-long naturalist. She studied biology at Humboldt State, and worked as a biological field technician in Oregon and Washington monitoring spotted owls, bull trout, and other threatened species.
- From 2006-2022 she worked in craft beverage manufacturing where she learned product development, organizational leadership & project management. She is a mama and loves adventuring with her family exploring all that Oregon has to offer. A few of her favorite things are mountain biking, nordic skiing, snowboarding, jumping into cold water, singing at the top of her lungs, dancing her heart out, and sharing a home-cooked meal.
- Her current path is working with youth in the outdoors and is passionate about inspiring them to see bilingualism as a superpower. She is a Wilderness First Responder, BICP Level 1 mountain bike coach, and developed Camp Chica in the Summer 2022.
