Come rafting with us and our friends at Sun Country tours this summer!!
Arrive at the Bend or Sunriver office 20–30 minutes before your departure to check in, complete waivers, and gear up. Then hop on a shuttle for a short ride to the Aspen launch site on the Upper Deschutes River.
At the put-in, your guide will cover safety, paddling techniques, and river basics before you hit the water in your guided raft. The trip starts with calm stretches and class I–II rapids, offering scenic views of lava flows, Ponderosa pines, and Osprey nests.
Before the main event, you’ll stop at Big Eddy to scout four exciting class III rapids with your guide. Then it’s time to get wet as you paddle through the thrilling drops and finish with a few smaller rapids.
The float ends at Lava Island, just before the falls, where a shuttle returns you to Bend or Sunriver.
Note: No alcohol before or during the trip.
